  : The location was excellent being close to Lark Lane and Sefton park. Easy parking on street. Big comfy bed and very spacious as described.
  : The flat smells damp and huge old windows can't be easily opened to air the place. It is very dark with little natural light or sun to warm it. I know that can't be helped but maybe a dehumidifier or another way of airing it could be considered. On the surface looks clean enough but it could do with a deep clean especially the kitchen and bathroom tiles.

  : The location was great being within easy walking distance of Sefton Park, Otterspool Promenade, St Michael's Railway station and close to Lark Lane with it's lively cafe/bar/restaurant/shops but without being impacted by any of the associated business noise. Parking was possible close to the property. The rooms were large, as shown on the pictures but would benefit from some additional useful pieces of furniture such as a decent sized set of drawers in the bedroom. The property is split into several flats but it was still quiet and we weren't disturbed by other residents. The owner provided a quick, helpful response to our enquiries prior to arriving. The shower was good and there was adequate toilet paper although the washbasin needed a scrub. There was plenty of room in the kitchen cupboards as most things, we had possibly expected were missing, but this meant we had space to unload our food supplies.
  : The facilities need updating and basic, inexpensive kitchen items need replenishing. There were several disappointing and frustrating elements which detracted from enjoying our stay. The property requires a thorough clean paying particular attention to grubby skirting boards, kitchen cupboards, bedside drawers (sticky substance inside). The cushion covers in the bedroom need washing and the pillows didn't have any pillow protectors. Although 2 large bath sheets were provided, there was only one hand towel for both the bathroom and kitchen. There wasn't any means of cleaning the kitchen such as sprays or a j-cloth for wiping down surfaces after use. Several items on the inventory were missing, eg glasses and plates were chipped. Although there was a microwave, there were no microwave dishes. Nor were there any cereal bowls which would be expected in a self catering apartment. The dining table was wonky as one of the legs was loose. There were other examples where improvements could be made. Suffice to say, it was more akin to being in student accommodation.
