  : Excellent location - quiet but very easy to walk to points of interest. The apartment itself was very spacious and comfortable and had a great view.
  : Although the apartment was great, we were not at all impressed with the management company. Our check in experience was not smooth - we had asked for an early check in given that we were coming in from a long international flight. From the messages I received prior to landing in Lisbon, it appeared as if an early check in was fine. We were sent the building and door codes and I said thank you and we would go straight from the airport at 10am. I received a "you are welcome" message back. However, after the car service dropped us off, we were unable to get into the apartment. When I called LovelyStay, they were rude and not helpful and made us feel very unwelcome, and said it was a misunderstanding on our part as opposed to admitting that they did not communicate with us properly before our arrival. During our stay, the single hairdryer in the apartment didn't work and one of the AC units didn't have a remote. Again, the management company was not helpful in resolving any issues - told us initially there should be another hairdryer (there wasn't), then said they'd drop one off (they didn't), and then finally said they would give us a 10% refund (still haven't received it and it's been over 3 weeks since we left the apartment). Honestly, this is the worst management company I've ever dealt with in my travels - I will definitely not be booking with them again.

  : Spacious, great location in Bairro Alto but not in the middle of the party zone so pretty quiet. Nice views. Difficult to access by car but just a short walk to transportation.
  : Not super comfortable. Management was hard to reach and unresponsive. Provided a whatsapp number that didnt work. Cleaning crew was there when we arrived and door code didnt work.

  : A beautiful apartment in a very quiet residential street only a few minutes walk away from the main thoroughfare, shops and transport. Gorgeous views, lovely facilities in a very safe, peaceful location. Despite the fact that we accidentally chose to visit the same time as the Pope (& therefore his 1-1.25 million pilgrims!), and therefore when Lisbon was over run by visitors, we were not remotely disturbed by noise. The furniture is stylish, the beds are comfortable, the showers work well and the kitchen is well stocked with equipment. An excellent apartment in a great location. Fortunately its also only a five minute walk from the iconic no.28 Tram stop, an eight minute walk from the closest Metro station and a twenty minute walk to mainline rail stations and to the Harbour (the sunset sail on a traditional Portuguese boat was excellent). So very convenient.
  : I think the communication with the management company, Lovely Stay, probably works better on the Booking.com app than it does on emails, as we ended up having to call them when the PIN didnt work. Having said that, they responded brilliantly when we contacted them. Personally though, I prefer to interact with a host who knows the property and may even meet us. But thats probably a small price to pay for a beautiful property in a great location.

  : Beautiful inside, despite the old unassuming door. Staff is remote but very responsive. Location is in Barrio alto in a lively area.Easy code door access, so no key sharing.
  : No luggage storage. They pointed us to services, but they charge per bag, and that's expensive for a family. The elevator was out of service because of "budget approval".

  : We loved the aesthetics of the apartment, great location , very attractive with wonderful views.
  : Elevator was not working and we booked with the understanding we would have one, we had 2 people in our group with knee problems which made getting up those 47 steps difficult , especially with luggage . The towels and pillows need to be updated,the property came with a Nespresso coffee maker but no pods, since pods are difficult to find they should have offered at least a few to give the guests enough for one day .

  : Light, airy and large apartment in a great neighbourhood. Really buzzy with loads of great restaurants nearby and fairly easy access to public transport.
  : Only some very small things -- it would be nice to have shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms, facial tissues and a clock or two. The apartment could really benefit from a book detailing exactly how to use all of the appliances. And tiny details, such as a few coffee pods, tea bags and some sugar in the kitchen would be great.

  : The apartment is large, clean with lots of room for your belongings and tons of natural light. the beds are quite firm which weve found common in all the places weve stayed in Portugal.
  : The address on booking.com was incorrect which resulted in being dropped in the wrong spot on the narrow cobblestone street, hauling our bags up & down a hill looking for a # that didnt exist. When I heard back from property with the correct address there was no apology for the inconvenience. I had also asked if we could check in early or at least drop our bags & was told it wasnt possible because they would be cleaning, however they would contact me if it was finished early. At 2:45 we were sitting on the street outside the door & I asked for the code. At exactly 3 I received the code. No one left the building while we were waiting so obviously it was ready early. All just very annoying. Additionally there was a low grinding noise that we could hear intermittently in the larger bedroom throughout our stay which was particularly annoying at night. The size of the apartment was great for when our friend joined us, but the communication was disappointing.We had stayed in Chiado previously & I do prefer that location.
