  : This was one of the worst stays I experienced when city travelling 1) the hosts are awful - the key needs to be collected at the other end of town from an agency and they NEVER EVER respond to your requests. I emailed 3 times during the stay and about 5 times thereafter and they never respond. No refund for our troubles (see below), nothing was fixed, it was very very disappointing 2) The apartment is in the attic. the staircase to it is extremely narrow, has uneven steps and for 2 floors has no light whatsoever. I tripped several times on my trip, the last one was so bad that I sprained my ankle and could not walk for 2 days. I missed my covid test, missed my flight and had to rebook everything. The hosts were zero help 3) leaks: there are sporadic leaks in the bathroom from some pipe, and one night it rained through the roof near the windows- nothing was ever fixed, despite multiple emails 4)discomfort: the pics look nice but the apartment feels cheap and you cannot walk in the bedroom. We hit our heads every day Our holiday was ruined by the hosts/ agency not fixing anything during our stay. DO NOT STAY HERE

  : Everything. The view, the location was right in the heart of Bairro Alto and the Fado bars right around the corner. The apartment caters for the needs for a few nights or even a week. Highly recommended!
  : The only flaw in the apartment is that it is on the 4th floor and the stairs are extremely steep. If you have large luggage be careful.

  : Good location. And super nice apartment. That's a shame it is managed like that....
  : Just don't go. The price is not the one you are going to pay. They will asked for more money. The add has soap, dishwashing products and so on... But we had nothing and they didn't have us some (you have to buy them yourself). The checking was incredibly long. Nobody cares about us. We wanted to extend the rent and they asked us to pay cash, we refused, so they told us that the place was booked by someone else for a longer time... Those people don't care about customer. And the add is not true. Be careful you Will have to pay more !!!And also it's noisy during the night (the area is like that).

  : Once inside everything you need for a short stay. Air conditioning unit worked well to cool temperature in living space. Big fridge and washing machine. Best thing of all is the location right in the heart of things and very close to mini markets and has bars and restaurants all around it.
  : The front door into the building was difficult to open and took a lot of tries to get it to unlock. Very steep flights of stairs up to the apartment which would have been very tricky with children or large suitcases.

  : Location is great. Windows allowed a lot of fresh air. Internet was good.
  : They don't tell you until your day of arrival that you have to pick up the keys from another location about 30 min away and they won't bring the keys to you even if it's raining and you have luggage to carry around. They tell you it's on the 4th floor when it's on the 7th floor. There was no toilet paper and towels. You communicate this to them and it takes them 2 nights before they bring you only towels and we didn't have any toilet paper provided at all. They won't take an authorisation hold instead of deposit so they take a $250 deposit from your card and you have to tell them to refund it. This then affects the refund as the conversion rate refunded me less money. You call them and they won't answer, both the phone and on whatsapp where they sent communication through. They won't respond to messages on booking.com and whatsapp once you've picked up the key. Their front door keyhole takes a bit of practise to know how to open it.

  : The lock downstairs did not work. It seems it doesnt work for long time, given the comments. We stayed 20 min outside trying to open. The bathroom has no window or air clean system. It smelled awful.

  : It was right in the city centre.
  : Dear all,This review might be a bit lengthy, but I want to share our experience in detail.Upon arrival, we were first led to believe someone is coming to welcome us and 10 minutes later surprised to find out that we needed to pick up the key from a welcoming center 1.5 km away, which wasn't communicated earlier. Main problem was that we had pre-arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport and had we known that we had to pick our key up, we would have passed from there with the taxi. When we finally got the key and returned to the apartment, we struggled for 20 minutes to open the door. The assistance provided was minimal (I contacted the man that gave us the key and explained that we are unable to open and he just repeated several times to try again, because there is nothing he can do as they are closing soon). Finally a woman from the neighbourhood saw us struggling and decided to help us and finally after some time she managed to open it. This lock continued to be problematic throughout our whole stay (we would spend at least 10 minutes everyday even though we were already aware of the hack)The apartment didn't match the pictures, but we understood considering the price. We werent expecting much more, for the price it was okay.However, it was uncomfortably cold due to a malfunctioning air-conditioner and heater.Outside was much warmer (we were the in January)Additionally, the apartment had kitchen supplies, but there were no basic cleaning items (sponge, soap), affecting our ability to maintain cleanliness.In summary, the service, the lack of communication, the key issues and insufficient amenities made our stay less than satisfactory.
