  : We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Carasco. We were travelling with our 4 teenage children and selected the hotel as they offered a quadruple room with 4 single beds. The pool area is fabulous with the most incredible view. There are steps down the side of the rocks and a ladder into the sea so we spent a lot of time jumping off the rocks into the stunning blue water. Our rooms had fabulous views over the sea which was just heaven to wake up to each morning. The British owner and her husband are often found in the lounge or by the pool. We loved hearing the stories of the early days in Lipari and the history of the hotel.
  : The rooms and overall decor of the hotel is quite tired and is in need of a good update, however this did not dampen our stay at all. We would definitely return. The hotel is a 15-20 walk into town so make sure you have comfortable walking shoes.

  : The view from our room over the ocean was great. Sure, the hotel has a 60's/70's aesthetic but that's its charm - it completely matched my expectations and was similar to the standard of other accommodation we had in Sicily. Great pool, great food and staff went above and beyond to make it a great stay.
  : Apparently the transfers to town used to be free (according to the friends who were staying with us). We visited town a number of times and the hotel couldn't always take us so we used taxi's. More transfer availability would be highly valued - potentially making them free again.

  : Bit tired. Lot further from town than you think & they charge to be shuttled in. Charge for a pool towel. Pool old. Whole place needs to be renovated.

  : Nice hotel, nice setting, just a 12 min walk from the main streets. A few of the staff was very nice. Good range of service (pool, bar, restaurant, shuttle)
  : The property is tired and a bit old, in need of upkeep. Bed was a bit uncomfortable and toilet light as well as minibar were not functioning properly. A slight smell of drain in our room as well did not help.

  : the location is incredible. the first night we were there we saw a meteor cross the sky while listening to the ocean lapping the cliffs below. the swim spot is amazing with lots of fish and sea life when snorkelling. the staff are so friendly and make the stay incredible
  : there are a few elements that need to be updated but it all adds to the charm

  : stunning location, direct access to the cristal clear sea, great swimming pool with salt sea water, short distance from the town, peaceful place, friendly and helpful staff, a number of excellent restaurants in a walking distance for nice dinners with local fresh food
  : Breakfast lacks of fresh local fruit, fresh local cheese, local marmalades and local honey, some poor organization. The kitchen is not at the height of the location. Small wardrobe, simple furnitures in the rooms, all of them are standard, with few exceptions. very dated furnitures and services, minimum level of comfort in soft beds, all double beds have two single mattresses.
