  : Excellent location across from lake como ferry terminal and lake walkway.. Only 12 min. From train station and close to restaurants and pedestrian areas. My room was huge with view of Lake. Bathroom excellent. The very sweet owner also runs the excellent hotel restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Owner provides a voucher for a croissant and coffee at pleasant lakeside cafe across the street . I liked Lecco. Few tourists and pleasant wide pedestrian areas. Can take a 30 min train to Varenna vs staying in that hilly, tourist crowded town. Though a long day , the 2 hour ferry ride from Lecco to bellagio to villa balbienello was beautiful .
  : The bed mattress was hard. Suggest the owner replace or add more padding.

  : Next to the lake and city attractions, quite specious room,clean. Very helpful staff. Nice coffee place just next door with Italian breakfast included
  : Bathroom is not functional, there was not even single cabinet / closet for cosmetics. Very noisy at night due to the street nearby, quite poor design of the room/ bathroom could be improved to make modern and nicer

  : The host was very friendly and helpful, also before we arrived. The tea, coffee and water was available in the hall at all times. We got a voucher for a coffee and croissant, which is great.
  : The location is great, but it can get noisy outside, as there are bars/cafes just outside.

  : Casa al Lago is on the lake side, fantastic view across Lake Como from our room. Our room was spacious, beds were comfortable . Plenty of storage space. Excellent shower and bathroom. Our room was thoroughly cleaned every morning. Breakfast was available at the coffee shop immediately across the road. The restaurant on the ground floor was excellent quality , a wide choice and a good price. It seemed to be popular with local people. Oreste manages both the hotel and restaurant as two separate businesses and was on hand to help guests.The lake ferry stops opposite Casa al Lago and it is easy to get to Bellagio or Varenna and other lakeside towns. The train station is a short walk across Lecco.
  : Entry to the hotel was through a locked gate in the garden. On a couple of occasions we had difficulty opening the lock. There was a note, on the gate, of the hotel phone number so we were able to phone for help. As mentioned , the hotel is on the lakeside, and is on quite a busy main road. Traffic noise might be a concern for some.

  : It was a great stay only the Room was a bit cold, heating wasnt on. Couldnt get a warm temperature on AC, asked for extra blanket.
