Disappointing

: Paid extra to be in the additional rooms behind the courtyard (not above the pub) which was advertised as a quieter option. The ground floor room has absolutely no sound insulation and the guests in the room above were like a herd of elephants we could even hear him flush the loo. Poor quality conversion and not good enough given the premium price. Since raising a complaint on the night and again since, the hotel have made absolutely no attempt to even appease us by way of apology let alone an explanation that it won’t happen to anybody else. No attempt to resolve we’ve just been ignored. Shame on you. Avoid at all costs they do not care about their guests.
: Dreadful customer service, no care whatsoever and been ignored for weeks since the reservation when trying to give management an opportunity to put it right or at the very least apologise. The room was ok as it’s been recently refurbished but the pub is grubby and stinks of damp and poor cellar ventilation. Birthday trip ruined.

: Great staff, warm welcome and allowed me to store my bike allowing easy access to it as leaving early in the morning
: Dinner was good, the cheese cake is best avoided - it was a very diy humble affair with a lot of canned cream

: Friendly staff. Lovely room, great bathroom, clean and nicely decorated.
: Ground floor room with a window at street level and right next to the outdoor seating area of the pub so was really noisy til about 11 - fine for us but if you were after an early night it would be too loud to sleep!
