  : The fact that we asked for the same room OR room on the 3rd floor and we were told that there were none available. Then the couple next to us walked in and they were given a room on the 3rd floor by another staff when both parties had reservations ahead of time. We had recently stayed and gave a good review but this time it was very disappointing.

  : We loved the location. The hotel is close to a lot great food and activities, but it does not feel like it is right in the middle of all the crowds. It's just a short bike ride to get to all those things. Hotel Azure actually loans you beach cruiser bikes if you'd like to borrow them. We took them up on this. The room itself was on the top floor and very quiet. We never heard the guests on either side of us. The patio with the view of the lake was so nice!!!
  : Occasionally we could hear the guests across the hall opening/closing their door. The carpet is pretty dated and appeared to have some heavy stains on them. While you're not right in the middle of all the action in South Lake Tahoe, you are still VERY close. If you are looking for something more remote and romantic, try looking at another area of the lake. There are a lot of travelers coming/going through this area during the summer.
