  : RATS/MICE IN OUR KITCHEN/ROOMSPayed $140 for an RV unit only to arrive, late into the night, to messy and insect-ridden trailer. There were ants all over the floor. I traced the ants to a mess of rat poop behind to a corner of the living room. There was mold along some of the trim and cobwebs all over the trailer. My girlfriend and I were disgusted. We called the emergency contact number as we did not want to sleep with rats. Nobody picked up. It was 2:00 am and we had nowhere else to stay so we decided to sleep on the couch with all of our things on the counters so bugs and rodents wouldn’t get in it.As soon as the office opened in the morning I was ready to bring this up to the staff. The woman at the front desk was dismissive and not understanding of the situation. She said to pack up and she would take a look (giving us no sympathy or any attempt to mitigate the situation); also saying there was “no possible way she could give us a refund or talk directly to the management”.In packing up our stuff we realized our food had been eaten by rats. There were bite marks in our fruit and rat poop in the counter where we place all of our bags. From 8am to 10:30 my girlfriend and I unpacked all of our stuff to check and make sure there were no rats or evidence of their presence in our luggage. Then, the same staff-women who was dismissive in the morning suggested we will likely not get any refund in any capacity as we “stayed late past check out”. I assure you we only stayed longer in this disgusting place to make sure our stuff had not rat feces in it.Finally, I re-voiced my concerns to the staff-women that I need some sort of compensation for this, before I leave, or at least a promise that management will reach out to me.5 days later, I have have heard nothing from anyone.I have had to escalate this separately with Booking.com and I have informed health inspection officials of the problem.

  : The location by the lake was beautiful. I rented a furnished trailer. I think it's probably best to bring your own though.
  : One of the staff members was very rude to my wife and I. She was a thick white women with blonde hair. She refused to serve us at the resort's restaurant and she refused to use my wife's preferred pronouns. A few of the guests did that too. Also, the shower was broken, the cabin smelled, and the toilet could only flush pee.

  : Overall it was acceptable. Not the best and not the worst.
  : The small single bed in the living room in cabin 3. Narrow and uncomfortable. Plus sun coming into window with no shade, only a white curtain. No trash can in kitchen. Guests are also required to remove their own trask out of the cabin, or get charged extra. The outside (grounds) looked disorganized. Garbage on outside of dumpster in plain view. Perhaps a good location for fishermen, as it lacks the typical "resort" amenities. Restaurant only open for dinner, not breakfast. Steep drive down, be extra careful if you drive RV or pull trailer.

  : It’s a great location for water activities - kayaking, boating and you can rent them. The fish were jumping. The waterway was simply perfect. The restaurant was good. Staff were very friendly.
  : The RV was old and run down. It looked like the facility was “trying” but it was cleaned- dirty and inadequate. $147 to rent something that should have cost $50. The shower was inadequate and did not get hot or warm as promised. . It was so bad that we didn’t take showers, we decided to take them at state parks. My mom wasn’t sure the sheets were clean. The queen bed was tucked in this inaccessible nook, you had to crawl into. The other bed was a very hard “futon” with a big bar down the sleeping area. Heat was wonky — either 80 degrees blowing or a loud generator noise even when we turned it off. This was the most uncomfortable stay of our trip, and we have been staying in cabins in state parks. Do not choose the RV. Scale of 1-10, 1.
