  : We werent aware from the discriotion that it caters to young families with young children- a lot of games for thrm to enjoy which is lovely but we were expecting an authentic pub environment. There were many steep stairs to our room. We left our suitcases in the car

  : The room itself was lovely. Staff were friendly and food, drinks were great. We enjoyed the quirkiness of the hotel and thought the golf was a nice touch of fun.
  : We arrived and were informed our rooms court yard fountain wasnt working. We had planned on attending a DJ night which was indicated through out the booking but told they had stopped this several months ago, although the last email only a week ago still referenced it. We were unable to use the bath in the evening as the courtyard lights did not work, and although they had provided battery fairy lights was still too dark. There was then was a leak into the Court yard, which pored down like a waterfall from above. I reported it in the evening twice as it stopped and started throughout the night. This created even more of a reason to not be able to use the bath area. Unfortunately we were not offered another room or any reassurance that the pouring of water will stop. Instead, told a note would be left about the complaint in the morning.The place is lovely, but we had expected to be at a DJ night; expected to have a court yard with lights and a bath we could use in the evening which we didnt have any, and didnt expect water to be pouring down into the courtyard. So was hard not to be disappointed in mine and my wives stay.We were given 25% refund in the morning but I have to say I wasnt really satisfied with that. How ever, we were only dealt with by a member of staff behind the bar. I believe we should have a refund and would be grateful for a response with further action.

  : The room was in a purpose built block adjacent to the main building. This was good as it was quiet (away from the road). It was easy to find and there is ample parking. The room was quite small but well presented and helpfully organised. We liked the mini fridge with a bottle of fresh milk and filtered water. The breakfast was good - a lot of cooked options. Staff were very pleasant. This was a good base for an overnight stay in order to visit Sandringham, Heacham beach and Brancaster.
