  : Location in a relative quiet neighborhood, cooking my own meals, Theodore, and Max. The art. Would like to go back when it's warmer, try out the deck out back.

  : I liked the affordability.
  : The Energy was off from the start. The manager of the property was off-putting. I came through the door after a long drive with heavy bags and things stuffed in my arms while trying to balance them, after walking up a path and steps and was offered no courtesy. The manager/owner, etc had two large dogs. One of them repeatedly jumped up towards me and snapped his teeth in an effort to reach my cell phone. I had to personally ask for her assistance with him. No disrespect to dogs. I have one of my own, but when a large dog equal in height snaps at you and there’s no consideration by the owner of your safety or allergies, it’s a turn-off and discourteous. She blew it off and told me he was getting used to me or feeling me out. She was of no help. The bathroom is shared but there are two stalls and two toilets and a large mirror and toiletries in case you forgot yours. Compared to other places, that was better. You park out back when you get there and it can be a hefty walk if you’ve driven a long way, which I had. I wasn’t told until I was packing my car that I could go through the back door which by then, was of no help other than to get out of the house faster...the beds are bunked and contain electric sockets for electronics (mine didn’t work) and there’s a note about not using more than one bed or you’ll be charged. No breakfast. And I was given no information on whether I could use the kitchen or not. It was all a turn-off for me, including the manager. It may work for someone else, but I personally like to stay in places where I’m well-informed and my space is respected. The neighborhood is just okay. Not too far away there are littered streets. Walmart closes at 8:30 pm and there’s a Walgreens nearby. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again. The affordability was all it had to truly offer.

  : It’s a beautiful old house, with a back staircase and a front area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with very comfortable and clean mattresses. The bathrooms are very very clean also! The staff is wonderful! I would recommend coming in with a car and parking in the back where it is more secluded and protected. The interior is beautifully decorated and very clean. There are also two big friendly dogs that will greet you with a lot of kisses and toys when you first get there. Absolutely fell in love with the dogs!
  : The house is located in kind of a sketchy area of town, so I would not recommend walking around at night. Again, as I said, if you come in with a car, and you intend to do things at night in Kansas City understandably, use that car. Just to be on the safe side. But it’s a beautiful house and the home itself is very secure.
