  : Great location - very easy to walk to the downtown area. The room was adequately comfortable and worked for what we needed. The staff was great during checkin and responded to my questions and requests. We did not have a car so we walked and took tours to see Mendenhall Glacier and to go whale watching - it was a nice walk to get to the tour pick-up point.
  : The facility was a bit worn, but still I felt like it was a good value for what we paid.

  : The male desk clerk was argumentative and needs customer service training. It appears that my employee was booked into a room without a mini fridge. This is a standard in ALL hotels/motels. He was advised to use Ice and a garbage bag, for his week long stay. At minimum, he should have been offered an upgrade to a room with fridge, or one brought in. Give the Maintenace guy a raise, he knows how people should be treated (with respect). There are no information placards indicating a designated smoking area or directional information. employee was not given any paperwork at check in that states hotel policy. We will not be using this hotel for our future business travel to Juneau. also, the boking confirmation advised my employee to call 24 hours in advance for a shuttle pick up. And was advised by the desk clerk that " that is not the way it works". The shuttle policy update was not provided to us. Lacks professionalism.
