  : It is a charming place and fun to meet the other guests and hear about their adventures without the B&B pressure of a meal together. We are a couple in our 50s and we like to choose more unusual places to stay. We were with my parents, in their 80s, who thought it was pretty funky - not quite their style, but soon they made friends in the lobby and got into the spirit. The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to everything but off the main road. Its between two fantastic restaurants. The staff was very helpful and friendly, they really want you to have everything you need. Breakfast was not fancy but there were nice self-serve options for hot and cold food, a microwave, and toaster. The coffee was excellent and the rooftop hot tub is outstanding. Juneau is a darling town. Id definitely stay again when traveling without my elderly parents, due only to the lack of accessibility for someone with mobility issues. Next time Ill book direct as there were some issues with charges and the cost of the rooms here vs the inns own website. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Silverbow Inn.
  : Couple things could have been better. First, booking.coms prices somehow ended up being way higher than booking directly would have been, and the King Suite does not have a hot tub as advertised here. Not the hotels fault. The main issue is the one slightly accessible suite is not truly accessible. The bed is way too high for someone with mobility issues. They had to lend us a stepladder for my mom to climb to get in and out of bed. It was a bit treacherous, but she was a trooper. Theres also a big post in the middle of the room. I dont think the hotel claims to be be ADA compliant so Im just putting that out there to be helpful. Had I known Id have booked elsewhere for my moms comfort and safety.   : We booked a king... got a queen but seemed more like a dble..NO ELEVATOR was huge..we are in our 70s and put on the 3rd floor to carry our 50+ lb bags up 3 flights. This should be in bold print on their site.. we would not have stayed if we knew that and we ran out of hot water.. so no we weren't very happy. The bath has been updated but i stay in alot of hotels and $800 for 2 nights was ridiculously over priced..linoleum floors seemed very outdated and rm very tiny

  : Great location. Comfortable bed!
  : LOUD! We could hear everythingand worse- it was the staff! Attempted to take a nap one day but we could hear everything outside our room. At night it was worse! The hotel seemed very short staffed (because the staff told us and constantly grumbled about being overworked). At midnight we could hear rooms being cleaned and laundry machines running! We couldnt wait to leave and go home to a good night sleep!
