  : We stayed for a week and the first night we received very good service with help carrying luggage up the narrow stairs as well as complimentary tea and a piece of cake. The location is fantastic, truly the top selling point of the hotel.
  : The hotel was a disaster. First we booked our stay from my husbands account well in advance at a good price, but a couple of weeks before our trip they cancelled the booking with very short notice due to being unable to process his debit card, and then didnt respond to any messages! So we rebooked the same room with my card (at a MUCH higher price), and three hours before check-in as we were at the airport a woman from the hotel called via WhatsApp to say they couldnt process my card either! We managed to convince them to keep our booking so we could pay on site (as per the booking agreement), and when we arrived they told us that their system simply cant process online transactions with foreign bank cards. Strange and unprofessional, not to mention the frustration of having to pay so much more for the second booking with still no response regarding the cancellation of the first. The actual room was terrible. There were holes in the walls, mould in the shower, and definitely no sound proofing. Loud music from their restaurant downstairs until well past 2am every night. Even the advertised electric kettle was so bad the water just ran straight out the bottom when we tried filling it. They did clean the room every day but we had to go down and try to ask for our towels and toilet paper back after every cleaning too, which wasn't always successful. The only reason we didn't leave or complain was because we had nowhere else to go and couldnt afford to pay for the few hotels that still had availability.

  : The room was clean and the shower and bed comfortable. The staff was incredibly kind, the owner introduced herself while we were having coffee and they made themselves available at all times. Location is perfect, plenty of restaurants and cafes around, walking distance from many places, we even made our whole tour (to the bazaar and mosques) by walk.
  : The room was quite small and only one bed sheet to cover.
