: The staff were beautifully accommodating, friendly and kind from the moment we confirmed our booking. They helped every step of the way from the moment we stepped off the plane and I cannot speak highly of them enough. Bravo. The place was heavenly. My only problem with leaving this review is that i want to keep this place a secret so it stays the same forever :)

: Great location for families! We loved the exquisite garden where our son could play, it was very well maintained and beautifully designed. The entire staff was extremely helpful starting with the welcoming attitude and regard toward our active son and continuing with recommendations for places to visit and eat at. A small but lovely beach can be found nearby and it is a great choice to eat your dinner back at the hotel. The food is lovely and so is Paola! We definitely recommend this place if you decide to visit Ischia and would for sure come back!

: We chose to stay at the Hotel Ideal because of the reviews - and this place did not disappoint us in any way. Hotel Ideal is exactly that - IDEAL! Paola and Dario are probably the most friendly and helpful hosts we have ever met - helping with reservations, and ideas on activities - they even helped us book a boat to drive around the island by ourselves! The grounds were absolutely beautiful - calming and peaceful. It is more beautiful than the photos. The rest of the staff was just as friendly. The breakfast was extensive and delicious - the lunch and dinner were equally fantastic. The pool and gardens are an oasis - with a thermal hot pool and a regular one. We could have stayed just at the hotel the whole day if not for all the other things to do. Very family friendly with something for everyone - We were traveling with our teenage daughters and we all loved it here - it feels like you are at a grand resort without the crowds. We would definitely return to Hotel Ideal and highly recommend it.
: The only thing that was not perfect was the rooms - they are VERY clean but small and a bit outdated. The balconies had beautiful views which was a plus. We had some difficulties with the AC, which could have been working better - but you don't come to Ischia to sit in your hotel room! Everything else about Hotel Ideal: people/staff, food, gardens, and pool, make up for the small rooms! Don't let the rooms stop you from coming here.

: The hotel staff in Hotel Ideal was super nice and friendly. Also, the hotel arranged transportation for us to the Harbor. Breakfast was good and nice to eat outside in the garden.
: I had reserved room for three persons with a sea view. The room was not available for the first night, so we were placed to another hotel next door. When we came back to Hotel Ideal the next day, they said, "we have upgraded you to a better room," which was what I had reserved.
