  : We enjoyed our stay very much. Our room was very comfortable. The hotel is very near the sea so you hear the sound of sea in the night :)The bus stop is near the hotel. You can walk to Citara or Forio.The staff was very friendly and helpfull.

  : Hotel is really a few steps from the beach, but this is about it. The beach is the only entertainment that can be found nearby. To get to the center of the town called Forio you'll have to walk about 20 minutes along the road. This part of the road is not covered by regular buses, so only 2 smaller buses are running and unfortunately you'll have to wait for them 30 minutes on average (usually under the hot sun during the day). Poseidon Gardens are also about 20 minutes on foot from the hotel. The bus stop for the main bus routes is 10 minutes away or you'll need to get to the town of Forio and catch a bus there. If you are planning to explore the island I would recommend to stay elsewhere, closer to main bus routes. If you are looking for quiet and peaceful vacation on the beach this place will do. There is a restaurant and a cafe also a few steps from the hotel, however the restaurant is only open for dinner 2 days a week (Friday and Saturday), all other days they close by 8 pm (kitchen closes earlier, but you can still grab a pizza to go). I wish I knew all these details before I booked this hotel, so hopefully this information will be helpful to others.
  : Hotel is small and nice, quite clean, but sea view is somewhat obstructed by the restaurant buildings under it and the hills on both sides (we had a much better sea view at our previous hotel, where it was advertised as partial sea view compared to this direct sea view, which we paid extra $$). Breakfast is very basic - some fruit, coffee, juice, bread, 2 types of meat and 1 type of cheese, some pastries, hard boiled eggs. That's it. We were offered omlet or other type of made to order eggs the first day, but no single time after that. No other hot food for breakfast was offered. Overall Island of Ischia is not a paradise one would expect, so maybe this impacted the impression of the hotel as well. Please be careful with scooters - it is tempting to rent one since transportation is limited, but people unfortunately get into pretty bad accidents on those resulting in hospitalizations with life threatening conditions.

  : We loved this small, family-owned hotel. Everybody was treated as a special guest. The public transport on the island is really good and we did not need a car to get wherever we wanted to go. We also liked the long walks. The breakfast was always excellent. Mario always remembered what we liked. He was very friendly and helpful, as everyone in the hotel. They all helped us to find nice and interesting places to visit. The beach was very close, therefore the fact that it was overcrowded, did not matter. We could just go down, swim, walk on the beach, then come up, and enjoy the solitude and the sun on our terrace. A wonderful restaurant just next to the hotel was extremely helpful for the case we didnt want to go out for lunch or dinner. Teresa: Thanks a lot.

  : Property is located only 20 meters from beach, and with perfect view. Also room is big enough and very clean.
  : There should be just some transport for big laguage from hotel to street up, since there you have 70 steps to climb until street.

  : The hotel is very close to a beach (the hotel provides a free sun umbrella) and 15 minutes to Citara and Poseidon Therme. The room was clean. Mario's Aperol Spritz was one of the best in Ischia.
  : There are stairs to get to the hotel. The bus stop is not close, about 10 minutes walk.
