  : Central location in a very quiet residential area of Interlaken close to the rail station (Interlaken West); very pleasant hostess and breakfast serving staff; hotel is endowed with 'old world' character and various antiques add to the overall quality environment; rooms seem to be airy and fairly sized with own balcony (ours did); very clean room and overall hotel interior; attention to detail is evident.
  : The breakfast, though more than adequate, could be improved both in terms of quality (of some items) and through inclusion of others; the soft feather pillows are not for everyone - but no alternative was available; our 'double' bed was just 2 singles joined together - leaving a rather uncomfortable 'gap'.

  : Hotel de La Paix Interlaken is honestly one place we really enjoyed staying. It is just 10 minutes' walk from Interlaken West train station and 5 minutes' walk from a supermarket. Lift is available in the hotel. The room was comfortable and view from our room was amazing. The manager and staff were very friendly, catering to our every need. Breakfast was delicious and generous. Would love to go back.
