  : My bed was comfy, and the walnuts at breakfast were tasty on the breakfast bar.Don Rey resturante was excellent.
  : First it said 7 miles from the University of Texas. I assumed it was MD anderson, our destination. It was 30 minutes with traffic. We couldn't at first, tell what was the front or back. We weren't the only guests that were confused. The facility was in a pretty sketchy part of town, pot was being smoked out the back door and on the 1st floor. We can't say for sure why the desk clerk slipped a can of spray to someone while we were checking in, but we assumed it was to cover up the pot smell. The hallways smelled of cigarettes and food. The manager was reprimanding an employee with the door open. Only 1 elevated was working. Seems it's been that way for a bit. I didn't sleep well thinking our car was going to be stolen. The bathroom wasn't that clean! I've stayed in Houston for the last 7 yrs and never felt uncomfortable, especially in a motel that is rated as excellent. If we could have moved, we would have.
