  : The restaurant and pub were very nice and the food was excellent.
  : We had been allocated a room in which was right next to the road and an open drain situated within the property. It was very smelly both inside and outside our room.

  : This was a lovely stay, was very impressed with the greeting we received, very thorough and more places should do it. The room we had was brilliant, lots of space, tastefully decorated and a very comfortable bed. The wi-fi and tv worked well as did the kettle and always nice to have water left in the room. Then bathroom was spacious and clean and everything worked. We also ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely, the superfood salad was a real highlight.
  : The breakfast room didn't seem to work very well, not very relaxing when it's a main thoroughfare for deliveries.

  : No off street parking, lack of management, lack of information, dungeon room very noisy from above, breakfast was a farce and far to late, couldnt ventilate the room due to its position. It was patently obvious that the Chef runs the operation.

  : Lovely period property and village location.
  : We have stayed here for a number of years and always been very happy with the accommodation. However this time we were allocated a room in what can only be described as the basement. The hallway smelt of damp and there was a wet sandbag on the floor. The room was small compared to other rooms we have stayed in and the bed felt cramped. The room was directly on the road making it very noisy, even with the windows closed, it was impossible to have the blinds up as everyone can see straight in. Also, in the past breakfast had always been included and the kitchen opened early to accommodate Goodwood attendees. This year breakfast was not included and although that was probably our error as it had always been included in the past, it meant we waited about for the kitchen to open at 9am only to be told it was no longer included, the cost of the breakfast menu was excessive so we chose to leave and eat elsewhere. Overall very disappointed given we had reserved the room many months ahead and whilst we know there is a premium due to Goodwood did not feel the room offered value for money on this visit.
