: Friendly staff good food, nothing to much trouble,
: Attention to detail ie cleaning cobwebs and spiders from breakfast room

Disappointing
Traveller Type:
: Location was perfect for the event we were attending, the food was very nice we had for evening meal but expensive for what it was.
: The reception staff was a very rude lady upon check in and couldnt seem to cope under pressure with a confusion to our booking as there were lots of rooms booked out from friends and family of ours with the same surname. The hotel is shabby and needs upgrades, we understand its under new owners and hopefully theyll address this. Although the bedroom itself was clean and had a new basic bathroom fitted. There was a strong smell of cannabis being used in rooms around the corridor to our room and the locks were not secure on the doors, this unsettled us a little. They took also took our card details and stored them written on paper as she said aggressively they get damages occurring. I asked if the details are being securely disposed of and its breaching GDPR regulations storing personalised details like this.
