  : The couple who run the guest house were very friendly and very helpful- carrying bags to bedroom .The breakfasts were excellent in their content and variety. Also the provisions placed in the bedroom were beyond what I have had in a very expensive hotel such as fresh milk and even a piece of home cooked chocolate cake!
  : we were in an attic bedroom and found the second set of stairs a bit steep

  : The breakfasts were outstandingly good with an unusually extensive menu both for continental style and cooked breakfasts. The range of locally produced jams and marmalade to enjoy on toast was amazing. I can honestly say we have never had better breakfasts in a B&B. Allocating a 15 minute intervals for breakfast times was an excellent idea as it meant there was no waiting while other people were being served. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well provided with toiletries. Parking was free.
  : Some people might find the stairs rather steep, especially to the second floor. Although free parking was arranged for us in the Resident Permit area, and it was generally not difficult to find a space, parking on both sides of the streets meant it was sometimes necessary to park partially on the pavement to allow wider vehicles to pass.
