  : It was very close to the old town and pretty cheap
  : Room was rather shabby and needed a proper clean. There were large bugs just splatted on the walls and large dust and hair balls lying about the floor to name but a few things

  : Location was good.
  : Not very clean. Wifi not working. No doors to rooms, just light curtains as a doors, so no privacy at all. When someone was sleeping, you couldnt keep lights on in livingroom. No one in front desk when we arrived at 5pm, just note on the desk. Directions to room were really poor (just go in to the building, but no meantion to take stairs down and no name/number in appartment door, just white door) so we had to call and ask where our appartment was.

  : I liked the friendliness of the staff, the presentation of the breakfast and the locality of the property.
  : Although the location is handy for the city, through no fault of their own, the property overlooks a building site which doesn't appear to have much activity going on. On street noise from drunken patrons. Noisy neighbours at 2.30am talking as if they were miles apart.

  : Visited Gdansk early December. Pica Paca was selected based on reviews and location. Central location and large warm room.
  : The stairway up was very dark, broken fluorescent tubes had not been replaced. Good thing we didn't have to use the stairs in an emergency. Also inside the room, where an extra floor lamp had been inserted to replace a broken light bulb in the night lamp above the bed. And there was a broken lamp on the floor next to the table. In the wardrobe, there were smelly clothes, probably left from earlier guests, that had not been removed. Loose skirting boards that lay on the floor, and the shower head in the ceiling flushed water in all directions instead of down. Breakfast the first day was empty of clean knives, bread and juice. And when we asked if they had more bread, we had to wait while personnel went out to buy more. Rarely, very seldom anyone at the reception area, only a phone number to call if you had any questions. Wanted help to order taxi for next day departure, tried to communicate as best as possible in English, and we asked pickup at 0800 next morning. Later in the evening we received text from the driver that they were ready to pick us up at 11:00. Our room had windows facing the backyard, woke up before 0600 by workers who were supposed to scrape snow and ice. I thought it was a bit early for a Sunday morning.
