: The hosts cared very much and explained everything via Whatsapp in a video that they sent before our stay. So we could see where to park the car and how to enter the flat even before our arrival. The flat is very spacious. You have two balconies to sit at. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed. There's also a car park in the garage (but better to come with a small car).
: Sometimes there was some kind of bad smell in one of the bathrooms. Maybe a defective toilet tube. And both main sleeping rooms are pointed to the main street. Unfortunately, the noises from the street, especially some very loud cars or motorcycles at night, are some kind of reflected by the buildings on the other side. It was very loud and hard to sleep sometimes.

: The apartment is really spacious, the rooms are great, fully equipped kitchen and the living room and balcony are great. Bathrooms are great and clean. Beds are very comfortable with 2 options for pillows :) There was a very pleasant smell and sense of cleanliness when we arrived. Host gave us detailed instructions on how to get the key and how to access the parking (which is a must in Funchal).
: There is no AC. This is a major downside. During my stay we had 28-31 degrees outside and a constant 25-27 in the apartment. This made sleeping very difficult, since opening the windows is not an option because of the close proximity to the main street. Outside noise is really a thing to consider since mopeds are quite used in Funchal and they are usually loud.
