  : Really good place , staff is really nice and they speak English fluently.
  : Upstairs in the room there is no wifi signal but playing room downstairs is great and full of games so who needs wifi when you can play table football :)

  : Loved the place, the nice hostel and the nature around. The check in was a little flexible considering we reached the place later than the check in time. Just bear in mind that you need to pay extra for sheets and towels. I would recommend it.

  : Busse's Waldcafe is next door. Nice breakfast and friendly staff
  : We were so looking forward to the 'hostel with spa' experience but were so badly dissapointed that we want to warn all of you to stay away. Definetly top 3 most overpriced hostels we've ever been. The sauna they boast with is only open for 2 hours per day also the swimming pool and other facilities close at 20h which leaves you with only 1 shower for the entire hostel. They kicked us out of the only semi-nice sitting space at 21h45 when we had just arrived after a long day and were left to sit in the hall with no table or heating. Also the kitchen and sad board game drawer are all closed after 22h. The wifi only works downstairs and on top of the steep 30 euros per night, you have to pay extra for any amenities such as sheets and towels. We didn't even want to try the pool because of the overall dirty feel of the space. Dust and dead insects everywhere, we even saw a cockroach. Not worth the trip at all.

  : The location is very good. You're right there in the Schwarzwald, with a very lovely view to the woods.
  : The Spa in this spa hostel is pretty much non existent. There is the dying remaining of a whirlpool whit a sign to go to the regular pool, which is, what we call in Dutch: a poedelbadje: About 3 meters long and half a meter deep, but cold and filled with algae and leaves. Not suited for any kind of dive, unless you are, of course, a dog. Also, there is a Small foodbath, but it looked like it hadn't been used for a long, long time. Someone must have had the plan to fix it, but stopped taking it apart halfway through. The tubes were taken out of it, and stacked in top.Furthermore, there are some relaxing area's, which consist of a cold, tiled rooms with some age old laying beds in them. I've been told that there is a sauna, but it's only opened from 6 till 8 p.m, so I've yet to discover its quality.The host is an , non English speaking fellow, who acted pretty rude and entitled toward us even though we tried our very best to communicate in German. He demanded that we'd pay 11 euro's on top of the price of 69 euros for the room. This would have been fine, if it was known prior to the visit, but it hadn't been communicated to us. Also, there was a €20 deposit which, like the rest, had to be paid cash, which hadn't been communicated prior to the visit. This made it that we had to find an ATM, and the guy behind the counter send us to a none-existing one. So, the looking for an ATM took us about 90 minutes.After our check in, we were informed that is not allowed to eat in the rooms, but when we were wanting to have dinner in the main area, this was closed of for the night without any communication, even though we asked if we could still eat there priorly.The entire area looked very disgusting, and since our own room was filled with dust and some sticky, smelly substances, I didn't dare to touch anything in the spa.All toghether, not the restful stop we had planned on our trip.
