  : Nice hotel set down a side street in Freiburg. Just a short walk across the road and you're in the Old Town area full of shops and restaurants and within easy reach of the cathedral. The owner recommended a restaurant to us in the old town and it was lovely to sit outside and eat dinner. Parking can be reserved at the hotel but is extremely limited. We were unable to get a parking space but no.problem as the hotel has a space in a public car park just over 5 minutes walk away. The hotel itself is very clean, the rooms nice and breakfast good. Would definitely recommend

  : The breakfast here was a highlight!! (the best one) reminds me of a charming French caf with its spacious, very light, and well-lit room with lovely decor (big paintings all over the wall) and real tulips in the vasean amazing start to the day! Good speacious rooms with comfortable beds with high ceilings (like 3 m), offered good value for money. However, the bathroom was a bit disappointing, lacking shelves and it hada small sink that couldn't put any toiletries properly. Despite this, the location and breakfast alone make a return visit worthwhile.
  : The receptionist lacked warmth and didn't greet me with a smile or engage in any small talk (how was your trip, how are you), which is crucial for a welcoming first impression.The receptionist is the face of the property. While she efficiently provided information, the interaction felt robotic and it was lacking hospitality. I left feeling disconnected and unappreciated, as if any robot could have performed the same duties without the human touch.

  : Accommodative staff.. Very helpful reception staff... Nice breakfast
  : Old property... Though spacious since it's an old property some amenities like showers were non functional.. As I mentioned in the positive part, helpful staff fixed the shower issue promptly

  : Absolutely amazing staff. It's such a great start to the day when you get greeted with a big smile at the breakfast buffet in the early morning. Speaking of breakfast, it was outstanding. Simple, clean bedrooms. A fantastic experience.
