  : Nestled in the beachside front row, the hotel allows easy access to both the swimming pool and showers. The sandy and pebbled beach is a perfect match for families with children. The receptionists consistently demonstrated exceptional friendliness, always willing to aid and offer advice whenever we sought information or assistance. Our apartment was equipped with a kitchen featuring a highly efficient refrigerator.
  : Unfortunately, because of inadequate rules, individuals left their swimming mattresses in the pool, resulting in significant inconvenience. The breakfast remained unchanged every day, and after several days of consuming baked eggs, you might find yourself mimicking a rooster's crow. Our apartment was equipped with a kitchen, however it was quite small and inconvenient for cooking.

  : Excellent location. Extremely clean - the cleaning staff attended every day and work SO HARD. Staff at breakfast and beach service also work extremely hard. The mattresses were wonderfully comfortable - the first time for us in Crete, so our backs thank the Indigo Mare. The pool was clean and of a decent temperature (although the air temp was 30 degs plus). Breakfast was interesting - plenty of choice and who would've thought we'd put so many different combinations on one plate! The fact you can eat while next to the pool and overlooking the sea was wonderful. Air conditioning in one bedroom was excellent (unlike our other rooms). Appreciated having a free safe in the room - this is the first time we've had such in any hotel, so this was a bonus not having to pay. Hotel is laid out in a very interesting layout. This means that the "side sea view" we had was much better than we'd anticipated.
  : We booked a 2 bed apartment for 6 of us. Unfortunately our plan of having 2 (teenage) kids on the sofa beds in the kitchen/diner disappointingly couldn't be done. This room did not have air conditioning, and one of the windows did not have a covering with the other not having a black out blind. This made the room unbearingly hot such that we had to put the two mattresses in the air-conditioned room, making it a dormitory with all 4 teenage kids in it. Not what we'd expected. The air con in one of the bedrooms was directed at one side of the room only. The hard-working staff at breakfast are a little too quick to take plates and cutlery away, such as when you return to the buffet for more coffee etc. A warning too that the pool is extremely deep at one side. This is also the side where the dawn-time sunbed reservers position the sun beds such that you can barely get past them without falling in the pool. The sun bed reserving didn't bother us as we used (paid 4 per pair/day) for the ones on the beach, which were just perfect.
