  : The staff were great and very accommodating. The food in the restaurant was really good with really pleasant staff there too. Great facilities.
  : The floor of the room we were in was dirty which was like it from the start. The mattress wasn't that comfortable. Noises from outside the onsite pub which went on till early hours of the morning, this was both Friday and Saturday night which was disturbing our sleep.

  : Fantastic location In Hythe & proximity to Eurotunnel . The man on the bar who checked us in was a positively delightful guy who took the trouble to take us to the room & even carried my bag.
  : Although very clean it was obvious refurb has been done on the cheap - everything a bit tacky and won’t stand the rest of time.

  : Helpful staff. Easy reception experience. I have stayed at this hotel before, and it is reasonable, but nothing special. Free parking is available, but on a first come, first served, basis, and free parking in Hythe is difficult to find. En-suite bathroom has a bathtub with shower over (my preference).
  : Although the booking confirmation said that breakfast was available at an extra charge, I was told that breakfast was not available (person who does it was away on holiday), and that I could find plenty of places serving breakfast locally. I should have been forewarned. I could find no staff available on leaving to assist me with my suitcase. There should be a notice advising how to find a member of staff 24 hours a day, in case of emergency (i.e. overnight). There is no grab handle on the wall to assist getting in and out of the bath. The hotel building is old, and has limitations with uneven floors in the bathroom etc. There are few options of accommodation at a sensible price in Central Hythe, and hence for the standard of accommodation, I felt overcharged. The hotel has electric heaters in the rooms, but no instructions, and the staff speak very limited English. There should be clear written instructions provided how to operate the heaters.

  : Dirty water smell from the bathroom, the breakfast facilities were cancelled but there's an excellent cafe opposite
