  : Good location (for me), 5 mins walk from the station in one direction and Gylly beach in the other (I even managed to fit in a.pre-breakfast swim). Nice and quiet too -- on a small road with no through traffic and the double-glazing kept out the seagulls' dawn chorus. Good-sized rooms with very comfortable bed, very clean, and good shower.
  : A very trivial thing: the waitress wasn't on the ball (or didn't communicate well to the kichen). On the first morning, I asked for the Cornish Veggie breakfast but without tomato and the waitress repeated this to me correctly... and yet I got the regular meaty breakfast (albeit without tomato). On the second morning I again asked for veggie without tomato, this time pointing at the menu and repeating the order twice... and I got a veggie breakfast with double tomato. The food was good though!

  : Beautiful home - lovely area for walking. Nice front room. Delicious breakfast.
  : Rooms are small - especially if travelling for a long time with a lot of luggage. Pillows were uncomfortable.

  : Nice comfortable rooms, although the shower rooms are on the small side.
  : We were under the impression that the hotel was dog friendly, we had to pay extra to take our dog which is the norm.However, when we went down to have breakfast we were informed that our dog was not allowed in the dining room. I understand that some people do not like dogs. The only option that we were given for breakfast was to sit in the lounge - where there were only low sofas and coffee tables, nothing had been set up in the room for us - we felt like second rate customers! We would have been happy to use the lounge if a proper table had been set up for us (they knew we had a dog and what their rules are re the dining room). The other option we were given was to wait until all the other guests had finished their breakfast and the we could use the dining room - makes me think that if we had got in there before the other guests would they have had to wait for us to finish- I think not! The staff also said that all this information was on their website - I have struggled to find it! It says all dogs and other pets welcome! We decided to forego the breakfast as the situation was just ludicrous - and the answer to the situation could have been to set up a proper table in the room.Hence the reason for my review - it certainly made me feel very annoyed and ruined what was a nice few days away.

  : Very friendly, helpful, polite young staff. Good breakfast, despite serving a pot of green tea made with cold water! Comfortable room.
  : Initially the shower didn't function until one member of staff pointed out the unusual ceiling pull cord ( not near the shower) to switch on the water supply! Broken toilet roll holder.
