  : Excellent location right opposite Exeter Central station and only 5 minutes walk from the centre of the city.
  : Firstly, I booked a junior suite as the photos showed an extra large king bed and more importantly for us a walk in shower. We were allocated one of two junior suites, both of which have jacuzzi baths which were really high to get into and a four poster bed. Due to mobility issues this was totally unsuitable and I requested a move. The staff were friendly and helpful enough but we had to accept a downgrade to a privilege room which was all they had with a walk in shower. The hotel tried to blame it on the fact that I booked through booking.com but their own website shows the same photos of the junior suites. We stayed for 2 nights and on the second day, housekeeping did allegedly ‘service’ our room but all they did was change the towels and empty the bins. The beds were left unmade. I don’t get into an unmade bed at home and I certainly do t expect this from a hotel. It’s also very noisy at night. I would definitely avoid a weekend stay.

  : Bathroom. Water took an age to empty the washbasin. No loo brush. Shower screen leaked a lot.Room - no lovely coffee machine this time.Room 210.

  : Brilliant location and wonderful friendly staff.
  : Disappointing Breakfast. Found the over head lights keeping food warm dried out the bacon. Scrambled egg didn’t taste like egg.

  : Pillows uncomfortable; grand entrance then tired corridors and rooms - all lipstick and no Knickers as the saying goes. Parking very limited. Very expensive for one night in mediocre hotel.

  : Great location especially when arriving by train.The friendliness of the staff.
  : The curtains and carpet in our room (212) were quite disgraceful-it is your first impression when you enter the room and it was very very poor. The carpets throughout were quite awful

  : We would have liked another chair as one of us sat on the bed. We would have liked access for the windows to be open further but there were restrictors on windows.
