  : Excellent location in the heart of the old town, nice basic, comfortable room in a historic building with everything I needed. Walkable to everything & easy to get to the bus station as well.

  : This is a very neat, small hotel right in the middle of the town. It was a short walk from everything I could want to see. The room was small, but very comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast as well.

  : We had a nice room, location was ok.
  : The heating was on the max level and it was a relatively warm day, so we turned it down. There was no information anywhere, that we should not do that. Upon adjusting the heating, it began vibrating and emitting humming noises, so we had to adjust it again. Suddenly, the heating started to make extremely loud noises, as if someone was banging it with a hammer so we were pretty startled. We turned it off again, but then there was the vibration and the other noise. Finally, we found some level where it was quiet and went to sleep. At one in the morning, we were woken up in shock by the loud banging noises again. We called the number provided to us, because there was no one at the reception, and arranged a new room. Despite moving to another room, and rather not touching the heating at all, the heating issues persisted, leading to a sleepless night. It was unbearable. So we went back to our room and had to get up every 20 minutes to adjust the heating so that it could be relatively quiet. We got zero sleep and were startled many times during the night. In the morning, there was finally someone at the reception, so we shared our frustration and the receptionist said she could not refund us because of "a Booking.com policy" and she offered to pay the city tax for us (about 40 CZK), that was preposterous and ridiculous. Breakfast was mediocre, and the room was noisy, cramped, and cluttered. Not equipped for a relaxing breakfast at all. The staff's lack of understanding of dietary requirements (we notified them in advance), evidenced by their handling of gluten-free options, added to our disappointment. Attempts to address our concerns with the reception proved futile, as staff were consistently absent. Despite numerous attempts to seek a refund, the hotel has ignored all our messages. We strongly advise avoiding this hotel altogether.
