  : Location on busy main road. Quite noisy with trams going up and down.
  : In need of repairs and alot of TLC needed.Hall way light didn't work properly, a hazard as the 2nd bedroom is in the cellar. Unsafe to reach in the dark. Missing spindle on iron staircase, unsuitable for children to stay. Bathroom tiles hanging off and dripping shower. Tried unsuccessfully contacting host on arrival, didn't answer. Floors very dirty. Went and bought my own towel as the ones provided had hairs on them. It was a shame because it could be a beautiful property instead it was spooky and creepy.

  : A beautiful property in a great location in Edinburgh. Two large bedrooms and bathrooms, a large reception room and a large kitchen and dining area.
  : The property is just in need of some TLC. Odd light switches not working, taps stuck onto bits of plain wood in the bathrooms, and honestly, the place just needed a good clean.

  : Location was ideal to see Edinburgh. The historic feel of the building
  : The property needs a facelift. It is very tired. As is the furniture within it. The heating was virtually non existent and we were all very cold to the point of having to wear hoodies for bed. A call to the owner did not rectify this issue and we made a decision to leave the property very early on our departure - leaving at 7:15. The water was Luke warm and showering was uncomfortably cold! The electrics in this property leave a lot to be desired. There was no working light on the stairs and main light in downstairs bedroom was not working. A note in the book stated if electrics fail please use the torch - yet there was no torch to be found! The information pack provided was falling apart and lacked accurate information. Soft furnishing were extremely tired with holes in scatter cushions. The photos that advertise this property are clearly out of date. The spindle banister is broken in parts and would not be safe for young children. If you do decide to stay here, take warm clothing

  : needs renovation, house was beautiful but needs more maintenance. radiators are not working properly. maybe due to house was really old it was not that clean as well. it was really cold at night.

  : Location great, huge apartment, very high ceilings, two bathrooms, quiet in bedrooms at the back of the apartment. Comfortable, clean beds. Lovely old Edinburgh building.
  : General shabbiness of furniture and decor, no toilet paper whatsoever provided on arrival, huge pile of cigarette butts on doorstep as if a very large ashtray had been emptied there. Many interior lights are not working, especially in the kitchen. Second bedroom is actually in a basement, which isn't made clear in advertising. Uneven floor / trip hazard at entrance to ground floor bathroom. Noisy at front of apartment, as it's directly on Leith Walk, with lots of traffic, trams and buses.
