  : great location and the apartment was comfortable for 5 adults
  : the sofa bed did not work and was dirty. floors were noisy. It was also difficult to access the property due to poor directions from the host's management company. However when I contacted them they were very helpful

  : Excellent location with a few great bars and restaurants. Ideal for a slow wander into Edinburgh TC. Bus links, OK but be careful you get the 29 bus going in the right direction as they do a huge figure of 8 to the outskirt of Edinburgh. Main RHS bedroom bed is extremely comfortable!!! LOVED IT!
  : Needs some love and attention. Looking a little tired. Shower head is growing a new life form. Iron has been patched up with carton tape and is dangerous.

  : Breakfast N/A. Location very good to walk to old city and local amenities. Quieter than surrounding streets. Parking a bonus. Kitchen was well equipped. Comfortable beds. Lots of hot water.
  : Communal entrance was dark, smelly, dirty and had lots of broken windows. An off-putting start. Only one set of keys so that couples had to arrange returns etc. No bedside light or charging points on one side of the bed. Seal on the shower screen perished and so had to mop the floor.

  : The location was very good with easy access to various parts of Edinburgh by car or by bus. Once inside this does not matter. Parking is just across the road behind a locked gate in India Road and once we had worked out how to get the padlock back on it was fine.
  : The exterior is an older local authority block and there are stairs from the India Road entrance and steep stairs inside from the hallway to the flat. The road outside is cobbled and lots of cars speed on this road which makes a lot of tyre noise when passing the flat. The curtains are not thick enough to block the light at night in the bedrooms. The flat needs redecoration with peeling and marked paint. The microwave needs replacing due to rust inside. The chopping boards are very scored and need replacing. Shower power is low. A mouse came out in the kitchen however we only saw it once. Electrics - needs more plug sockets rather than extensions and taped up plugs.

  : The size of the appartment was bigger than expected which is always a good thing. It was clean and located in a quiet location.
  : Finding the correct entry door to enter the building was challenging as building are very similar from the outsise and can be access from two different streets. Kitchen door is blocking the fridge door when trying to open both at same time.

  : We really liked the location, walking distance from all the main attractions in Edinburgh. The venue came with parking, which was really important for us. Two bedrooms was great. All the facilities in good condition. WiFi was okay in the main living room.
  : The parking couldn't be guaranteed. This caused us a great deal of concern before the trip, as we booked an apartment with parking. In the end parking wasn't an issue, but, Hoast left all the risk on us in event that parking wasn't available.The apartment is starting to feel a bit tired. The carpet is threadbare in places. The floorboards are squeaky throughout. Caused us to be mindful of the people below us quite a lot. If the basics could be freshened up it could make a big difference.
