  : We stayed in the Captain's Room. The room was large and very rustic (which we loved). We enjoyed the jetted tub in the bedroom part of the room. The fireplace was a nice addition to the romantic feel of the room. The bed was very large and very comfortable (I'm picky about a bed too). We loved looking at all of the art on the walls in the halls. The bar area was awesome. We opened a bottle of wine and sat near the fireplace and enjoyed looking out at the pond watching the rain.
  : The curtains in the room need to be updated and big enough to cover the entire window (I would recommend gold velvet). I had to pull out some hair clips to hold the curtains closed as there were people in the back who could see the jetted tub area of the room. I think the room needs another chair as well. It would have been nice to both have a chair with a small table to enjoy drinks and a snack before heading to the tub or bed. I also feel that it could be a bit neater outside in the back (a weekly walk around with a trash bag to clean up).

  : The Wi-Fi was very weak, which also impacted the tv connection. The chairs and hammocks in the pool area looked mildewed

  : the beat up el Camino, sole vehicle in the parking lot. also the driveway entrance had some big potholes that could be easily repaired

  : The bed was comfortable
  : There was mold in the refrigerator, the coverings and rugs were filthy, the liquid soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty, the shower dripped all the time (had to put a towel in the shower to catch the drips so we could sleep), shade missing on the lamp, the mirror in the room was filthy, smeared and there was dust everywhere. Beside the fireplace there was an old board to conceal the wiring - in an expensive room, really ? The room was not worth $200+ per night
