  : There was a rooster crowing all night at the back of the hotel, impossible to get a good night sleep.

  : Plenty of storage space in wardrobes and drawers and decently sized room with a sunny balcony. The decor of the place is the ultimate in kitch and no expense has been spared. You wont see many places like this so youll either love it or hate it or just find it hugely charming or dreadful. Its a bit Marmite. Public areas kept nicely clean. Air con modern and worked well.
  : Horrid hard pillows. No shelf in bathroom and inadequate towel rail. Plug in basin broken and no waste basket in bedroom. TV did not have one English speaking channel. Wallpaper peeling in places. Tissues in bedroom were like sandpaper. Such a miserly offering to guests. Water not replenished without asking. Insufficient clothes hangers but were supplied on request Coffee pods never replenished and, on enquiring, were told this was the policy ie, if staying more than one night you are penalised. Breakfast was inappropriate in many respects. A very limited choice of sensible breakfast foods and largely geared to the whim of the hotel rather than to any normal, international standards. No tea (other than herbal) was available which was very poor, to say the least. Designer breakfast dishes included dressed salad leaves with (poorly) poached eggs. plus a couple of slivers of so called bacon. Instructions issued by waiters were one dish and one dish only, one cup of coffee and one cup only or pay extra. Poor waiters had to explain the regime to every new, and surprised, guest. Reception staff were generally quite helpful but they did not have any information for visitors. - such as town maps - and didnt seem to know much with regard to services such as car hire companies. We were sent to a tourist office which didnt exist to get information that any decent hotel should be able to supply. There are no seats in the reception area.
