  : Comfortable, clean, roomy enough!
  : I was assigned a room on the 2nd floor, and that room was perfect!!! Except…that the way the door fits into its frame and has to be GREATLY “jimmied” to close and then lock HAD to have been already known to the owner as well as the person who assigns rooms at the front desk. No question about it at all. In my attempts to get the door closed and feel safe and secure, I honestly bodily suffered because of the exertion necessary to physically lift and push and shove that door literally into compliance.Sound dramatic perhaps, but older people such as I am (just shy of 70 years old) do travel, sometimes alone, and often times, when encountering a room issue, first try to solve issues on one’s own, as I did.Once I got the “door-in-need-of-repair” open, and got my considerable baggage into the room, I found that my door did not, in any way, fit into the frame without great exertion.I had actually read copious amounts of reviews about the accommodations before-hand. Hand-to-God! So I was not happy that I was assigned THAT room that was mentioned in other reviews.I called the front desk, and explained my problem to the male clerk. He assigned me a room across the hall, and it was fine and easy to move my things into.But he did attempt to show me how to shut the door! And it was just as obvious that this door did not become almost impossible to shut without lifting it, shoving it, and slamming it closed.I am not writing this review for any reason other than to remind personnel responsible for the proper and universally-accepted expectation that, like in this case, involves a (opinion here) ridiculously defective door. Normal humans expect doors in hotels to open and close with ease, locks to work with ease, as well as comfortable beds, cleanliness to a fault, and a presumption that one is safe and secure while staying in one’s chosen hotel.

  : Breakfast was typical for this type of hotel. The breakfast hostess was pleasant and eager to please.
  : Our experience was what we expected from a Quality Inn. We thought the price was high but hotel prices at all hotels in Dubuque were high for that night. The Quality Inn price was better than most.

  : The location is pretty close to alot of restaurants, and not too far from the museum. The rooms are good size. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good for the price of the stay.
  : Very outdated hotel. The pool was dirty and the water was freezing. There are only 2 tables to sit at in the pool area. We had 4 families staying in 4 different rooms. We all bought stuff out of the vending machine & it was all extremely expired. There were big holes torn in the window screens in the hallway.

  : Melissa at the front desk on Saturday morning was very helpful and made sure the breakfast area was clean and very well stocked. There was a young man not sure of his name I forgot to look at his name tag but here was at the front desk Saturday night and Sunday he was very helpful.
  : 1 of our rooms was a little dated and needed some carpet to be replace with tears in it.The pool was ok cold and the stair was a little wobbly my mom had a hard time getting in and out of the pool.
