: Lovely small cottage in a quiet, tucked away location. Nice little touches, like the pint of milk in the fridge and box of bits on the table, made us feel welcome and cared for from the moment we arrived. Warm and cosy, no problem getting cottage warm, even in the Conservatory and plenty of hot water for showers and baths after returning from long wet and cold winter walks on the sea cliffs.Xmas decorations showed the owner cares.....very seasonal. Smugglers Inn was a fitting, snug warm, Covid secure partner to this cottage, just a short drive away.
: Not so much didn’t like, as things to be aware of, the deep gravel path around the neighbouring garden is quite narrow and thus surprisingly awkward to carry large bags..... Rain dripping on conservatory roof at night not great...but heck it did rain heavily both nights, and we were warm and dry....

: A perfect dog-friendly little place to explore the south coast. The host was very accomodating and the little basket of goodies on arrival was a lovely gesture. The surroundings were very peaceful with the occasional farm noise. It's quite hidden from the strong winds we had which was good. A torch is a must as quite dark around the area at night (They provide these also under the sink) and pretty fairy lights adorn the path leading to the cottage, set to come on a certain time. it's just a short drive from beautiful Rinstead Bay and very easy to get into Weymouth from there. Definitely hope to return one day in warmer weather.
: Felt very cold at first especially in the conservatory seating and kitchen area but was prepared for this and is obviously expected this time of yr. Once the heaters were on, it warmed up quite nicely. :) The garden isnt fully enclosed so best to use a lead if doggy is an escape artist! Though this wasn't a big deal for us.
