  : Building was old and run down, smelt damp and mouldy outside room. Breakfast poor, mass produced not cooked fresh. The fried eggs were inedible.

  : Nice hotel. staff brilliant. Place definitely in need of a tidy up in beer garden and a fresh lick of paint to the walls looks run down from the outside but other then that not a bad hotel at all tbf

  : Staff were nice and accommodating and the hotel is quite conveniently located if you have a car. Sadly, apart from this, I couldn't write any more positives.
  : The hotel needs a serious refresh. The moment you look at it from outside it made me feel what on earth have paid for me and my wife. My suspicions were only confirmed when we got the room which smelled of a very foul smell, so much that we had to request to swap it. Thankfully, the staff were accommodating and offered us another room without any fuss. We paid for a Double room which was absolutely tiny and cramped and did not warrant the price they were charging when rival hotels were giving you better rooms for just a few tens of quid more. While routine cleaning was maintained, every area of the new and old room reminded you of missing basic cleaning like ingrown black mould in the bathrooms and doors whose edges were chipped away. No aircon, poor ventilation, mouldy smell throughout the rooms and hallway and poor lighting in the room just chip away at any value for money left for this hotel. Being impartial, I do have to give them some positive feedback where it was due. The management should consider a thorough refresh and health and safety check for mould instead of saving money not renovating this place. I can now see why it is rated so badly.

  : Booking in was simple, Staff were nice and friendly, room was clean as well as the bathroom.Good breakfast.
  : Bed was a bit on the hard side for me and my partner, the bed side lights we all but hanging off one did not work at all so could do with some maintenance. I would of thought that these sort of things would of been picked up when the room's were serviced after guests had left, i have stayed here before so staff could do with taking more note.

  : Electric kept tripping room which nobody knew how to turn back on was filthy food on the floor which they don’t have in the restaurant, stains on the carpet and lights shades, iron and board had a inch of dust and hardly worked, have many pictures to upload
