  : 1) The breakfast was pretty extensive in its selection; a good value for what it was. I'd have preferred more healthy options, but it's Germany, and they like meat and sweets. A lot. So that's probably not changing. 2) The shower head was fabulous. 3) The bed and pillows were very comfortable, which is maybe the #1 reason to stay in a particular hotel, right? 4) The hotel staff was extremely courteous and always pleasant.
  : Several things made no sense. 1) The bed came with no sheets, only a duvet that covered half the bed. Why? The staff did give me 2 more when I asked (because 1 more would still leave me largely uncovered if I rolled over. 2) The nightstands were tiny, and yet there was a large amount of wasted space in which they could have been extended. ("Nightstands" were merely a block of wood attached to the wall.) 3) Virtually zero storage space for clothing. 2 shelves and a few hangers that were tucked away. Again, there was a large amount of unused, wasted space to the side of the bed that would have been great to utilize with drawers or at least shelving. 4) No shower door, which meant that the rest of the bathroom got relatively wet. 5) The internet shut off every morning and had to be reset. I've never understood the reason for this with any hotel that does it.
