Lovely 3-Bed Caravan in Clacton-on-Sea

  : The seating needed a good clean, the gas fire and cookers info had worn away there was no information pack, the kitchen was very basic on bowls etc.

  : Good location about 25 minutes walk to the beach. Getting on site and in the caravan was simple and van was as described, if not as clean as we would have expected. Fairly well equipped. Site facilities were good and we enjoyed using the swimming pool, arcade and playground. On-site bar looked good and shop well stocked. Overall, the caravan was really good value for money especially considering location.
  : We were not told until late afternoon the at before our arrival that we had to take bedding etc. As we had an early start the morning of arrival this did not leave us much time to plan. You also have to take all basics; bedding, towels, toilet roll, cleaning products, tea towels, washing up liquid, dish cloths, hand soap. We had chucked some of this stuff in the car just in case, assuming we would not need it and we’re glad we did. Needing to take all this is not actually an issue, but you are not told on the property info that you need to which could leave a lot of people needing to do a fair bit of shopping. The caravan was not overly clean and we had to clean the kitchen and bathroom before use as well as wipe out the fridge which was very dirty. All the crockery etc needed a wash before using. For the price we paid, we were not too fussed, but it was probably lower standard than expected.
