: Location was perfect. It was nice and quiet at night. The rooms were very clean. We liked having a refrigerator in the room and a Nespresso machine to make coffee each morning.

: Modern but with a nod to the past, retaining some of its historical features. Maria the receptionist was most helpful and friendly.
: It was on the ground floor and had a small featureless courtyard/outside space; I would stay here again but would select a room with a view/balcony.

: The location is fantastic in the old town of Chania. The design of the room is lovely.
: Our biggest problem was that the safe deposit box was locked and we couldnt use it. We asked the staff for help and they only said that it was left lock by the previous travelers and they need a technician to open it up and it will happen on Monday, which was our departure day. They didnt offer any compensation and acted as if it didnt matter. After we explained that to us it was important + when booking the room we made sure that the room contained a safe deposit box and that now we feel as if we dont get what we paid for, they gave us back 10 euros in cash, which was 3% of what weve paid. Honestly that was the worst part since it was quite offensive and diminishing. We value our sense of safety in a lot more than 3% of the worth of our staying and by no means did we plan to walk around town or swim at the sea with all of our valuables on us. After all, we feel its quite basic to clean the room after your guests leave and check that all of the room facilities work before new guests check in. And if something isnt working it shouldnt be your guests problem.In addition to that we felt like they lacked the small details that make you feel at home- there was no blanket- we only had a bed sheet and a bed cover + the sheet had yellow stains on it.I hate to be petty but it was our third visit to Chania, every time we booked a room in this area at the same price range (+ the same time of year) and this time we felt like we received the least value for money.
