  : The location was very good, also the shower, super hot.
  : I've felt that was a bit expensive for what it was (even if Barcelona).Not able to open windows to let some fresh get inside. The top beds are actually difficult to access. The steps are to high. The room (female only) n 214 - was really small.

  : This was the cheapest hostel I could find. 24hr reception is a great perk.
  : The decor seems to be right out of a school function hall. The staff were lecherous, unprofessional, slow, and generally unfriendly. Although advertised my bed did not come with a charging point.

  : The geographical situation is nice - You can do everything by foot or transports. There's a shared kitchen as well but it closes at 11pm - If you leave anything in the fridge it's not accessible until 6am
  : A certain lack of security : any person can actually get into the hostel ; you don't need a badge or anything to get inside, except for the separate rooms, if closed. Lights that are always on during the night and are literally aimed at the rooms' windows, with the curtains not accessible. I've complained the staff about it and they told me the curtains were motorized and they were broken, and they'd be fixed first thing in the monring. Spoiler alert : it was still broken two days later when I left. Hygiene : You've to change the sheets yourself, and the old ones most likely won't have been removed. I had to ask for soap as there haven't been any near the faucet. No shampoo or anything else was given, not even something to soak the foul smells after one has been to the toilets (and I can attest that other hostels DO provide that). Same for the toilets : there was toilet paper on the floor and a foul smell for two days straight, it wasn't until the third one that someone cleaned. I've actually found a cockroach in the hall as well. The "bathroom" is very poorly designed as it's not separated : The faucets are literally in front of beds so if you're unlucky enough to have those place, brace yourself for a very uncomfortable night The toilets : same. There's a door separating it, but it's right in front of four beds, so any foul smells can easily travel along the ground floor. Worst of 'em all, the shower : you literally cannot lock it, there is no shower head, no towel provided to avoid wetting all of the room floor when getting out, and the door doesn't even cover the whole space : some hot, humid air continually escapes from the existing space.
