  : Finding and accessing Case Mathilda was easy, thanks to excellent communication from the staff. I was a late arrival, so the team made sure to provide me details on how to get into the building and then my room. The location was great and the best was the most comfortable of my entire trip!
  : I ended up being placed in the first room, closest to the main entry and could hear people coming and going. Not ideal, but wasn't too bad - luckily the other guests were not noisy! I left early in the morning and popped over to the community area to grab some water and a coffee - but they require you buy the pods. They weren't expensive but it just felt odd that they wouldn't provide complimentary coffee?

  : The location, the room and the facilities were very nice with elegant touch. The building itself it also quite impressive.
  : Unfortunately, we realized a strong smell from the shower drain after shower. So we always kept the bathroom door fully closed and open the window for fresh air. It was the only negative thing. Other than that everything was quite well.

  : The property had great location.
  : As someone in the hotel industry, there were numerous things that could have been done better. 1. There was only a top sheet on the bed, no duvet or comforter. The hotel had it in the wardrobe but would put it away every day when our room was serviced. We have been travelling Europe for 3 months and we haven’t had a hotel room with just a sheet on the bed. It was uncomfortable. 2. The bathroom had an unpleasant smell. The drain was smelly and needs drain cleaner because it smells out the room. 3. We stayed for 4 nights and our towels weren’t changed once. They had a sign saying they are being considerate of the environment however, Barcelona is a big city and most tourists are sightseeing all day. The towels get dirty and they need to be changed. 4. There is no coffee/kettle in the rooms. There is a communal coffee machine but you have to pay 1 euro for a pod. My partner and I both felt this establishment was trying to save money at every point. We are paying customers and it would be nice to have a coffee in our room. 5. There are lots of stains on the carpets and floors. The hotel feels more like a Hostal rather than a hotel. 6. We didn’t have breakfast included and we are glad we didn’t because it looked subpar for the price. You are better off buying your own cereal and yoghurt and having it in the common area. 7. The hotel is extremely noisey, it’s in a historical building and has a noisey elevator. A lot of the rooms face the stairwell out of the building and you can hear EVERYTHING. 8. The room description says it was 17 metres squared. We came from a hotel room that was 15 metres squared and it was bigger? The rooms feel a lot smaller than described.

  : Interiors decorated with taste in a beautiful building, in the midst of the center but quiet. Our room had terrace access and was very nice. Warm and welcoming personnel, but very professional! I loved it.
