  : This is an experience of rural Sicily, quiet and peaceful near the spectacular scenery of the gorges of the Anapo river, and the necropoli of Pantalica. The food was wonderful though I couldnt do justice to it, not having the capacity!
  : The instructions on getting there need improvement, Booking.com needs to mention that you must go via Ferla as the road from Cassaro is closed. Our sat navs did not know this despite the fact that the road has been closed for 15 years! Porta Pantalica is well signposted from the centre of Ferla.

  : Salvatore the owner goes out of his way to make sure your stay is stress free . Having had a bit of trouble with our car, he offered to pick us up if we don't make it back. Sebastiano the chef makes good tasty food and is, rightly so, proud of his work, taking his time to explain in detail what is in your plate.Waking up early to the sounds of the mooing cows and braying donkeys and nothing else is a great way to start the day.
  : The property is quite a way off from the main towns eg Ragusa, Siracusa etc so is best suited for exploring the immediate areas. Breakfast was simple and started at 8.30 am. We were offered an earlier breakfast but we declined to avoid disrupting the staff

  : This is the closest place to stay near Pantalica, just outside the park information center. The dinner was delicious and Salvo, the owner, is friendly. The rooms are basic and were very clean.
  : The rooms and showers were chilly; we were there in November, but the heat was not strong enough. Breakfast items were limited, probably because its off-season.

  : Location immersed in beautiful countryside. The surrounding and the absolute silence just the light breeze in the trees. So peaceful.

  : The location of this hotel is simply stunning! Really a wonderful place and great for hiking in the area. The breakfast was large and very tasty and our very polite host provided us with useful infromation. Although small and unassuming, we really liked nearby Ferla and had a most amazing meal there.
  : Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place for a winter stay (we went in December) - I have no idea what it's like in summer or spring months but in cold weather the single air conditioning unit in the (admittedly very large) room is simply not enough. We had to have it turned on during the night and woke up filling terrible. Other than that, the rooms are OK if bland. Not super comfortable but if the heating had been sufficient it would have been fine. We had counted on having dinner there but it was cancelled (not sure exactly why) so we didn' get the chance to really take in the common area as we would have liked. Overall, they seemed unprepared to host guests during winter months.

  : The peace and tranquility of the area was exactly what we were looking for. Salvatore, our host, kindly provided some tips where we could get local food and he was spot on! We enjoyed eating pizzolo in the village square which is a short drive from the lodging. I recommend starting the day with an early morning walk to enjoy sunrise and cows in the pasture
  : Everything was up to our expectations

  : Location was about 10 mins out of Ferla. It was easy by car. The breakfast was also great and the host Salvatore was very accomodating. Very good value for money
  : Only feedback was that wifi was advertised on the booking site but no longer available. Fine without but good to know when booking
