  : Shower head is really low...set-up for a child (I'm only 5',so it low!).

  : Functional motel like property. Old but clean and spacious room, nice garden area. Comfortable bed and clean linen.
  : Room smelt stale and cold when we arrived improved once opened sliders and ventilated it. Large room but only one armchair.

  : Easy to call and ask for earlier check in to accommodate a wedding I was attending. Also called to get a scary bug out of my room. So helpful!! Clean cute room. Has an Airbnb hotel vibe to it- kind of mid century modern. Old school locks on the door so don't lose the key! Cute outdoor private patio. Easy walk to the hot tub and pool. Gorgeous green mountains in the background. Easy and free parking right in front of my door. Mini fridge to chill my beers. Not to mention the location! Walking distance to so many great wineries and eateries. Cafe Rustica and Cowgirl Winery are my favorite.

  : We like the overall experience at Contenta: it feels like a small, semi-rustic resort as much as it does a mid-century modern upgraded motel. Many of the renovations done a couple of years ago are tastefully done. The breakfast choices-- though limited-- are high quality, with pastries of a standard one might expect in France (and I'm in France as often as twice a year). The manager, Miranda, is also a gem: she always finds a way to be especially helpful. The location-- with views of surrounding hills, walking distance to restaurants in the heart of Carmel Valley, is ideal.
  : The wifi in the units is not the best. The bathrooms, though upgraded a bit, still feel like 1980s. The beds are quite high and the mattresses soft.

  : The room was clean, I always wipe counters and disinfect myself when I stay at places because you just never know. I did not get any dirt from cleaning the counter tops and such. Bedsheets looked recently cleaned so very happy about that because there are places out there that have a reputation of not cleaning like they should. The room was pretty big and there was so much storage.
  : Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with the room because I did not get a bathroom with a bathtub. I had specifically picked the room online because it was a stay for me and my husband to relax and celebrate our anniversary. I got switched after I mentioned that, and they still gave me a room without a bathtub. However, it turned out to be a better room from the first one because it had a small kitchen. They also do not provide hand soap, and I believe that would make it a bit better. It's the small things that can make a difference.
