  : Beautiful location, lovely pool, hot tub and fire pit- would highly recommend for a family break. Breakfast was really good aswell.

  : Staff was WONDERFUL! Home made breakfast on the weekends, served hot, absolutely Beautiful and Peaceful dining area, soft music with great decor. Outside dining is extremely nice too. Pool was sparkly clean and new looking. We went to a wonderful restaurant in town, Cafe Rustica, but that restaurant was fully booked, so we got food to go, and sat by the fire pit at our lodge poolside and enjoyed the sunset and fire and enjoyed the hummingbirds visiting the nice flowering plants. Our room #3 had a front patio with chairs and right next to the main part of the lodge making it convenient for breakfast, and was right next to pool, so doubly nice. Wifi worked great for us, nice TV with many channels, but we did not use it, VERY COMFORTABLE bed that my wife and I both commented on and slept great on. The owners are both artists and the art and pottery inside the lodge and the sculptures and pottery in the garden and pool areas were great. Also, the pool area had ivy on the fence which not only looks great, but turned out to be a wonderful place to take photos of our family prior to a wedding that we were all attending. Also, outside they were working on a beautiful fountain/pond which they started up for the first time while we were there, getting to see the constant improvements apparent here, and there will eventually be koi in the pond. In closing, I must emphasize again that the staff was simply WONDERFUL!
  : Our room was very pleasant, but seemed under what I would expect for the price we paid. I've stayed in rooms which were $500 per night along my coast in beautiful Carlsbad CA with beaches etc, and the rooms were much nicer and everything appliances etc were new and top notch. That's my basis for assessing that the room, appliances and fixtures were below what I was expecting. Also, for the price often at places like this we are greeted with some sort of unique soaps and shampoos which can be kind of fun for a mini-spa like treat. I know I can bring my own and do, but my wife had forgotten something, and instead these things were very basic. I know that sounds silly, but for the price I kind of expected better care in that department, instead of something close to a travel lodge experience, but heck it's soap, shampoo and lotion, so I shouldn't be complaining, but just make sure you bring your own :-)

  : The breakfast was served by one person, very limited options. The cheapest paper plates and cups! During our stay no one cleaned our room. The sheets were smelling like old oil.

  : Due to being at a conference, it was hard to get snacks beyond 9pm as everything at the lodge and the surrounding areas was closed.

  : The shower head was hung below 5'. It was impossible to take a proper shower. And the shower pressure was terrible. They charged me $15.00 to check in an hour early. The hotel was not full. Ridiculous. I booked two nights and checked out after one night. They would not refund my money. I would NOT stay at this hotel again.

  : This is a bit inland from the Bay Area but not too far - only about 20 mins of a very pleasant drive. Hotel is very pretty - log cabin style with pretty gardens. The pool was wonderful for cooling down after the heat of the morning. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were absolutely lovely, recommending where we could go out for dinner and so on. Altogether a very enjoyable one night stop - over on our way down the coast. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!

  : Location was fine; the place was quiet.
  : The room isn't airconditioned, and at night it was quite warm. They provided a fan, but it was noisy so we had to turn it off in order to sleep. The room is also extremely small and "tight" to get around. Bathroom was early 60's motel: functional, but not for the price per night. Breakfast was ok--very spartan--but we were disappointed by all the single use plastic involved. I wouldn't stay there again.
