  : The back garden
: Everthing else but the room size, and the staff. The room was very narrow, and the bed said to be double, but doubtly, two can fit. Bathroom with issue as per photos. The location and back terrace were wonderful. Two main issues I do not recommend this hotel:1. I booked two nights starting on 3rd Sept, but due to unexpected delays related to the business I travelled to Barry, I called and asked to shift my arrival to 4th Sept. Without asking any cancellation, the moment I spoke about the CHANGE, the receptionist kept talking about how I am cancelling one day. Further comms on booking.com plarform were futile to explain to them the difference between shifting arrival day and cancellation. And they had free rooms, no worries! They asked me with a big smile and large opening on the pocket to pay another 140 GBP for extra night from 5th to 6th Sept. Which I obviously refused.2. Not worth the money they asked. In a nutshell, they should stick to their cancellation policy and hope they will see fewer people passing their door.

: Breakfast was great with loose tea ,China tea pots and range of cooked offerings that you didn't have to pay extra for like you do in most hotels. Exterior lounge area for spa was beautiful with sea views
: The changing rooms for spa too small and no shower poolside

Very Good

: Lovely property, in a great location with parking and gardens. Room was very elegant, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the staff extremely friendly, professional and efficient. We had a very nice stay and visited the esplanade and pier ( 2 mins away by way) before returning to the cricket ground for the county championship match.

: The food and the location are amazing. The beautiful restaurant with a view to this stunning garden is a joy.Kate, the Receptionist is brilliant, friendly and just wonderful. The room was okay, with sea view, although not much sea to be viewed. The bed was very comfy.
: Unfortunately there were quite a few disrepair in our room and in both, the ladies and the gents restrooms. Minor ones which can be sorted easily, like faulty light bulbs, emergency plan fallen off the door, broken knobs and latches. There is not much storage in the room and bathroom. A too small wardrobe, the only shelf occupied by an additional pillow. The only shelf in the bathroom above the basin occupied by the towels, a toilet paper roll and the caution sign for hot water. The tables in the restaurants are very sticky, the spray used to clean the surface might have dissolved the varnish. The staff is not very experienced. The young waiter brought the drinks and passed them to each of us over the table, then just put the last drink down where he was standing. When we were mentioning the yellow leaves in the Rocket salad, another waiter just said: ’Okay’ and when we ordered the dessert, another waiter said: ‘No problem’. Well, we would assume it isn’t a problem to get a dessert in a restaurant. When we asked for the manager on duty on check-out day in the morning we were informed that he will only be in from 1pm on. Never had that before that in a 5-Star Hotel there is no manager available when guests check out.

  : Can’t complain about anything!
