  : Location is convenient. 15 minute walk into town, close to tours and mountain walking. Castle and grounds are beautiful and well maintained
  : It is very touristy because of the TV show that was filmed at the castle, it was quite loud right outside the door early morning till late hours with tourists and groundskeepersYou are really paying for the cost of staying at the castle the amenities are average with not much included

  : Beautiful place. You are staying inside the castle! The front of the apartment is in the scenes of the series Wednesday. The apartment is clean and modern and spacious. The grounds of the castle are beautiful and your is included. The views of the mountains are phenomenal.
  : The only reason I didnt rate this place a 10 is because of the sofa bed . We are a family of 4 adults and 2 of us slept in the sofa bed in the living room. It was horrible. I couldnt sleep.

  : We were a bit disappointed that the accommodation was not inside the castle but that was our misunderstanding though. We had the entire lodge for ourselves. Very clean, good toiletries and white sheets. Best smelling sheets ever :). All kitchen appliances are clean and of a good quality. Big and very comfortable bed.
  : There is no air-conditioning and it gets a bit stuffy on a very hot day especially when you are advised to keep your windows closed in case bears are showing up during the night. Doors with glass at the bathrooms (albeit frosted) - but still rather uncomfortable. Was extremely surprised to see a Dyson hair dryer attachment in the main bathroom thinking that the luxury just went one extra step. However it was just a forgotten piece and the hairdryer was a Remington I think. There is no mini dishwasher or small stove. Kitchen inventory is very sparse - 2-3 spoons or something, no bread knife. A lot of common kitchen stuff is not available like a kitchen towels for example. There is no sign with "private property" when the lodge is rented so anyone can walk on the premises and peek inside. Back door key was not provided until we asked for it. However the thing which ticked us off the most was the insane foul sewer smell which came from the kitchen. To be honest we thought that someone left a dead animal in the house. The smell persisted throughout our stay.

  : Great location with wonderful views. Staff is very kind and willing to help. Room was well furbished and exceptionally clean.

  : A pretty and spacious villa in an exceptional location. The staff saw that we were curious about tour in the castle and arranged a tour only for us in english (the regular tours are in Romanian). We were treated really nice overall.

  : We were disappointed that the restaurant was closed for the night and no-one notified us. It is tricky to get to the town when it's cold and dark at night.

  : Beautiful location and staying at the castle is a much better way to appreciate it than doing a drive by visit.
  : Note you cant drink the tap water but this is explained. They provide some bottled water for your stay, although we stayed for 4 nights and needed to grab some more from the store.
