  : We liked the log burner, it made it very cozy in the evenings. The kitchen was a good size and we made use of the breakfast bar. The beds were very comfortable and everywhere was very clean. It wasnt far to walk down to Clovelly, via the lane, paths and fields, with sea views along the route. Also enough parking for two vehicles and the cottage is in a nice quiet spot, very little passing traffic.
  : We could have done with a decent bread knife.

  : Parking was little tight for large cars and the range wasn't on despite the info detailing it.

  : Rural location very pleased with the area. Central for places to visit.
  : The cottage was filthy inside and needed a darned good clean. On the fourth day the owner informed me the washing machine was broken after my daughter tried to wash clothes for my grandson We should have been told about this before we came. Good job we hadn't a bunch of kids clothes to wash. A new one was fitted on the day before we returned home. The details that were sent to me said no pets yet a recent renter had 2 dogs. It was a very disappointing experience.

  : The location was perfect for visiting just about anywhere in North Devon and into Cornwall. Just far enough off the main road to be quiet. Very cosy with the log burner lit, even with a gale blowing through the front door. Good, social kitchen area. Lounge a good size, as were the bedrooms and bathroom. Parking for one car, (it says to park on the gravel but it's covered with grass so it's difficult to gauge).
  : This beautiful little cottage needs some work to bring it up to scratch to rent out for holidays. It looks very uncared for. The lampshades were old and brittle and paint was peeling off the walls. There were 9 chairs, 7 stools, (two of which weren't high enough for the breakfast bar), and two sofa's to sit on. The cottage sleeps 5 people! Is this where excess chairs go to die? The duvets and pillows were dreadful when the beds were stripped at the end of the stay, (I was quite shocked) - it ALL needs replacing in the very near future, although the covers were perfectly acceptable . An outside light would be a good idea for winter stays as at the permitted 5pm arrival time means it's pitch black!

  : Decor so outdated & carpet, mats urghhhhh! Way overpriced for the week! Check in & out times pretty poor 5pm check in - 9.30 am check out.The property defo looked nicer in the pics on website!
