  : the double bed was in the smallest room, I think because it had the en-suite. would have preferred the two single beds (which join together) and the. massive sofa bed removed, this is just our preference.

  : The view from the lounge window was every bit as dramatic as we hoped, and we ate breakfast watching the passing yachts and fishing boats on the Menai Straits and the rising sun climbing the slopes of the mountains. The flat was warm and spacious, extremely well-equipped, and very handy for exploring the town. We were very comfortable throughout our stay.
  : Although there were enough mugs and glasses for a regiment, there was no teapot and only one small chopping board. We found some of the facilities unnecessarily complicated; it shouldn't be necessary to have an instruction sheet for the kitchen tap and the bathroom mirror! And of course, there's no parking outside the flat, or indeed anywhere near, so we had to pay 35 for a weekly parking space on the green. Perhaps it might be possible for the owners to negotiate a parking pass for the flat (as is the case with the holiday cottages in the Cornish village where we live, which has similar parking problems). But we knew what to expect with parking, so it didn't spoil our holiday.

  : It would have been perfect if there were laundry facilities in the apartment. Its a beautiful apartment with good appointments but lack of a washing machine makes it more a short term let.
