Washington Central Hotel

Wonderful
Traveller Type: Business Traveler
: The food was superb - I had been told it was good but didn't expect it to be so good. The serving staff were lovely at dinner and breakfast, informative and helpful. Breakfast had great choice.
: My shower was too hot on day 1 and I couldn't alter it. I told reception and it was sorted for day 2. My only complaint was the absence of shelving in my bathroom for all my lotions and potions.

Fair

: The only reason I booked this hotel was because it had a gym and pool, so I was dismayed to learn there was a charge of 10. Also the room I had was on the main road and the noise from the traffic kept waking me.

Very Poor

Good
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
: Good location, decent room size, good facilities, food was also exelent
: Quite hot indoors for the time of the year, could have turn the heating down slightly

Poor
Traveller Type: Solo Traveler
  : Bed was comfortable
: They wanted 10 for using leisure facilities on top of 95 to stay.Noise from the bar next door was unreal, soundproof the building.Woken by housekeeping. Surely they should have a list of rooms leaving.

Wonderful
Traveller Type: Family with Young Children
  : Swimming pool and gym
  : The restaurant was expensive.

Pleasant
Traveller Type: Business Traveler
: The bed was big, and It seemed I was upgraded to a disabled room, which ment, bigger bed, ground floor and mad shower
: Parking is very limited, and proved to be so when after a long shift at work I was not able to find a place to park my van. So much so I was advised to park on double yellow lines, explaining no ticket would be given. On top of this I had to spend 15 a night extra using booking.com so not happy. One of the things I love about hotels is a long shower or bath, but in this hotel, the water was not hot, it was warm, sometimes cold. Plus the room was very cold. I turned the radiator on, but not heat ever came. The WiFi was terrible4 star hotel, not in my book, but also, the lack of help trying to park my van when the main reason for booking this hotel was the parking, was not a good experience. And being woken at 0830 by the cleaners is again not acceptable. So many small issues, but atleast the staff when I needed them tried.Basic problems, but big issues for me during my stay.
