  : Due it's location, this is a great hotel if you want to make a stop while travelling through England. Rooms have a good size, staff is friendly, good food with plenty of choice and at good price.
  : A fridge on the room would have been nice.

  : Cooked breakfast was a little too greasy and full english served without any bread/toast/fried bread!Some fittings a little frayed around the edges but acceptable.

  : On our route
  : We booked two rooms - one family room for two people and a single. We expected two beds, as shown in the family room. We were shown a double bedded room and when we queried and asked for a twin room were told the hotel was full and no other rooms. And That if two people booked a family room they are always given a double bed - the other bed being for a child. Was even informed that a father and daughter had the same issue - not appropriate. In the end we split the two beds and utilised the bedding. It would have been helpful if the manager had offered us single bedding and we could have made the beds up - she didn’t handle the situation well. We were tired after a ferry crossing and hour drive and arrived at 11pm. Also my cousin who I was sharing with was bitten during the night by bed bugs - .
